Warren Buffett stepped down as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway at the end of 2025 but continues to work as chairman. From 1965 to 2025, Berkshire Hathaway achieved compounded annual gains of 19.7%, significantly higher than the S&P 500's 10.5% average return, and currently holds over $370 billion in cash and U.S. Treasury securities.
